Summer Musical Journeys

Tenth Stop – London

In this final installment of Summer Musical Journeys with Texas Camerata, our Tenth Stop takes us once again to England to hear the music of Georg Frideric Handel. This trio sonata movement, which displays the influence of Handel’s German roots and his travels in Italy, features Dolores August, Kristin Van Cleve, Sarah Freiberg and Robert August.

Sixth Stop – America

Our sixth stop in our Summer Musical Journey takes us to revolutionary-era Boston, where we hear a work written by the Nation’s first professional composer, William Billings (1746-1800). Soprano Emmie Arduino, Alto Natalie Arduino, Tenor Jeremiah Tyson, and Bass David Grogan offer a stirring rendition of the song “America”.
